The W45997 New Premium front left drum brake wheel cylinder is designed to apply hydraulic pressure to the brake shoes in drum brake systems. When the brake pedal is pressed, brake fluid pressure forces the wheel cylinder pistons outward, pushing the brake shoes against the drum to help slow or stop the vehicle.
